Anyone Nervous About New England Nor'easter?

I'm located in RI. We've had a couple snowstorms this winter, and I just plug in the heated waterer, add extra bedding to the coop, and put some Vaseline on my hens' combs. They mostly stay inside, and that keeps them warm. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions!

Oh I will be thinking of you with the eggs! I read about a lady who had a similar situation and lost power and she and her daughter put the eggs against their skin to keep them warm! That's dedication! LOL

I'm here at the Jersey shore and we're expecting 60 mph winds and a foot of snow. I have two-week old chicks in a brooder in the basement, with a heat lamp on them. I am worried about the power too. I am planning to use big Mason jars filled with hot water if the power goes out. Anyone have any other ideas?
