I do!

Hubby is not religious, more like evolutionist LOL!

I got a bit of both and can go both ways. However I am not devout but give a good respect for those who do believe.

DD only knows Christianity from her school.

Lots of Christians believe in evolution. For some reason the loudest Christians in America have been those that believe in the literal biblical account of creation.

I might try thaiturkey's advice. Normally, I share everything with husband but from respect, I have been skirting religious issues lately. I know that my husband believes in evolution and doesn't think that God sends non Christians to hell so he is not a literalist when it comes to the bible. In other ways he is quite strict, Church every Sunday or Saturday night, honest to a fault, praying before meals, compassionate and warm toward others. I think that he reads the bible more for its overall message then as a history or science book.

As for the creation, I do not believe it that we descend from Adam and Eve. From the NG channel, all of the DNAs they tested all descend to five individuals and those five individuals pinpointed somewhere in the Egypt, Mt Sinai area. We do not know what race they woudl ahve been but surely, apes LOL! I like the Darwinism kind of thing.

I will show him the clip on youtube and see what he thinks. He might just choose to bow out or he might want to watch with me. Now that I think about it, I might be making this a far bigger deal then he would.

I agree with Wifezilla, Religulous doesn't make Catholics look too bad. The older priests that they interview seem to be wonderful, rational people who would probably fit right in this thread.
One of them says at one point that all the religion stuff is just a construct of man. He comes across as very wise, tolerant, and kind.
