Anyone on here from AL with State Permit info

Quote:
Interesting. I have sent off for my federal permit to be able to sell my waterfowl but form talking with the AL game division nothing was needed for the state.
All of our quails/pheasants we bought through a feed store or have raised oursleves.

Mallards I have been told you don't you don't need anything for even though they are on the list. What a headache that would be.

When I asked about Mallards this was the reply that I recieved back.

"You would need a Game Breeder license to for Mallards. Please see our website: http://www.outdooralabama.com/licenses/WFFLicenseApps/ResLic/Game Breeder Res-NR 8-10.pdf for further information.

Thanks,"

It is nice to know that we all get a different answer from different people working for the same department.

This si what I got "Migratory waterfowl fall under the jurisdiction of the US Fish and Wildlife Service. You may contact them at 404-679-7314 regarding permits for waterfowl."
