Anyone order started stars from Mcmurray?

Has anyone ever ordered started stars/sex-links from Mcmurray Hatchery? Did they arrive in good condition? How much did shipping cost? I would like to know because if we can't find star chicks we might order started pullets from there.

I am trying to remember the cost with shipping. I think they ended up being close to $40.00 per bird with shipping, but possibly more.

Not that unusual for that price of shipping PLUS box. It gets expensive for every bird but if one needed an instant flock, then it would be the way to go.

There HAS to be someone around Boulder on here that would sell you some nice hens for about $40, depending on the breed.
Look on craigslist or post on here that you are looking for hens in CO.... seriously, shipping would KILL the deal.

I looked and found young black stars, but I want them later in the year, and I'm not even sure I'll be getting chickens. (although the chance is rising, hehe

I now some people that order chickens from mcmurrey and they did come in well.
