Anyone order Welsummers from Estes and/or Whitmore Farms?

I am going to raise some Welsummers as my chicken projct.

Trying to decide which is the better supplier of chicks. Please let me know if you have Wellies from either of these places.

And, do you like them? I would love to see pictures of eggs.......

Hi, I have purchased from whitmore farms but I ordered delaware and ameraucana's. Positive transaction all around. Wish I ordered some welsummers.

How are the Ameracauna eggs? Are they really "sky blue" and as big as other eggs?

No, I really expected blue eggs because they are true ameraucana's but they really are the same as the easter eggers. Some are lighter than others but I really expected to see a real difference. They are blue/green. My easter eggers also lay bigger eggs but the ameraucana hens are pretty and healthy. Lay really good, go broody every once in a while and I have lots of their off spring. They are a great bird.
