Anyone planning any big changes for your flock this spring?

I just bought a incubator.

Adding about 8 more hens.

Will be getting more meat birds than I did last year.

Planning on building a bigger coop.

Contemplating an incubator. May try hatching some inexpensive local eggs first, then possibly silkies. Sell Sarah and maybe Sam (both pullets) to replace with a SLW and maybe a SS. Hatch out and keep 2 silkies - a pullet and a roo (!) if quiet enough to not wake the neighbors! Resell incubator as a silkie is about the same as living incubator, right?

Possibly try meat birds in my chicken tractor at the community garden plot.

However, the reality of home improvement projects should dictate that I don't try any of the above, except possibly switching out 2 standards sized birds for 2 different breeds.
