BYC is trying to update our breeds database to include breed pages designed by our members. There has been a mad rush on the more popular breeds but we are seeking those of you who may have some experience with these more rare breeds and would like to contribute.

Here's what we've got so far https://www.backyardchickens.com/breeds/breed-chart

and
here's what we need:
Ancona
Cornish
Cubalaya
Dominique
Dorking
Malay
Minorca
Phoenix
Red Cap
Sicilian Buttercup
Sussex
Star
White-Faced Black Spanish
Yokohama
and even Rhode Island is still left!!!

Here's how to get started

My son & I would love to write about Dorkings, but his flock is only 11 weeks old! I'd need to borrow some pics of Red Dorkings. He also has a birchen & a light grey.

That would be fantastic!!! you could start the page, add whatever pics you have for now, then edit when you obtain the right pictures. Once completed, we will grant the GFM. Some members have been collaborating with others to share info and pics. Others just post on here asking for donated pics... everyone has been great working together on this.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I have Speckled Sussex.... Not sure I have good pictures though, or do they need Light Sussex? I don't have the light.

My Daughter would like to submit a picture of her Dark Cornish Bantam, how would she do that, just post the picture here? Also would she need to write something or are you guys going to post breed history, etc. She loves this breed they are so great and she's got her first chicks from them this year growing out..

OK. We start the page ourself, oh I get it. Sorry a little slow today. Will work on it. Thanks
