Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

Well - I was certainly active today. Built a new planting bed. Hauled about 50 bags of assorted soil, mulch and bark. And then we walked the dog! Yeah - tired.
 
Nice Anna... its all rain and wind and yuck here. We went to the library and now I'm running on empty. Dreary days give me no energy at all!

I had a very active day yesterday moving fence all day!!! Was supose to be more of the same today, but ran into a glitch Gary had to go get supplies we didn't know we were going to need, 1 hr drive each way so I've had a slow start today. But I did finish my home made biopod!!!! That wasn't so much for my health as it was for my pocket $$$$ free protien for the girls. I have not cheated w/ my eating though, woo hooo!

I have a Dr appt tomorrow, hopefully I'll find out something about my hip/leg so I can resume yoga. Well I'm going to either way, it's been a week since I've done any, but I figure if I concentrate on the core and upper body and really putz out on the lower body hips at least for now until they know something more. It should be okay.

I just thought of something a good reason to pass on the "happy cow" or as I like to call it the "ticked off heifer"!

I am thrilled to say that I can almost do the lotus posse. Its been driving me nutz for a while that my right hip just won't open up enough for it, but after doing 15 minutes of stretches extra each week I'm almost there.

My stomach is loving the bow posse though... really tightening things up for me.

I tend to "Graze" when at work so today I brought in a bag of grapes instead of the: cookies or crackers I usually do.
I also got a salad from the salad bar at the grocery store before coming in and put great things like kidney beans, yellow bell peppers and sprouts in it... no cheese and a low fat seseme dressing at the recomended serving size. I put the fake crab on it for my protein and no crootons. And after work I'm off to the gym

And I don't have a scale as I said before... I had weighed myself at my Mom's at Christmas (128) and visited her this last weekend and weighed myself Saturday and Sunday, both times it said 122. So I've moved down since I've started all of this. But again the # isn't what I'm watching just thought I'd share.

Yeah aussieheeler!!!!

I have been trying to drink more actual water, I'm shooting for 60-100 oz a day, but am failing miserably!!!!! I am not a drinker by nature of anything, but usually go for flavored or fizzy if I have to drink (always diet, not wasting carbs or calories on liquid!!!! esp when there's chocolate) Guess there is a new slate tomorrow.
