Sounds good lets put a price limit on it, young kids here.. How about $20.00, don't give me your adress yet.. I think I may win..

my only concern is my monthly cycle is about to start so I weigh more, then I really do

we should do our official weigh in this coming Monday or something, although I really like fridays I always weigh less on them

Not that it's any of my bussinnes, but we should plan around your cycle too, since I want to beet you fair and square

what day of the week do you want your weigh in? Anyone else in with us?

Should we do daily water counts?

If we're starting on the first then we should weigh in on the first. Ahhhhhhh....Sat. morning!! Okay, everyone knows my height, weight, age...not telling them the date of my cycle!!! $20 limit...you're on!!

A couple of years ago my friend and I started getting up early in the morning and walking just a few miles each day. We'd take the dogs with us and get our words out!! Without changing anything I lost 10 pounds...so did the dog!
My friend had a surprise pregnancy so the walking stopped....the dog and I put the 10 lbs. back on. I guess at middle age we can't skip the exercising no matter what! Yes, this truly bums me out.....

This week, we should all plan menu's/ what we need to start this into full swing..

How are you preparing?

I'm 5'2", about 130lbs, I'd like to get down to 120.

I have a horrible sweet-tooth and I like salty foods, so if I can just cut down on these two things I should be good.

I am GF also, have been for several years for health problems. Don't think I could give up my cornbread though. I have such few bread options. I eat is a couple of times a month. And in the summer love the buttered corn on the cob!!!!!

I also am trying to lose a little weight, around 20 lbs I would be happy, 30 I'd be exstatic!!!!! I already have a pretty good way of eating, being GF cuts a lot of eating issues. I really need to exercise more. I do yoga, have been off the wagon for a few months, but this last week got back on. I do Steve Ross Inhale, but have found a new one on my local college tv station called "power yoga" I've been dvr'ing it and adding it to Inhale. Has anyone tried the yoga video of the "biggest loser" woman (sorry don't know her name"? I have dabbled w/ Windsor pilates have the video set, should really give that a better try.

But that type of corn is fine, because it is in fact really corn. I'm talking about all the hidden corn in the foods we eat - sodas, seasonings, grain products, deli meats, etc. Pre-processed foods are full of corn.

Ash are you freakin KIDDING ME?????

I don't believe in diets. I believe that life habits can be changed by gradually, and I mean GRADUALLY changing the way you think about your food, the things you put in your body, and concentrating on the good foods that you ENJOY.

I'm also doing this!

I'd like to exercise more, and eat less in general. I'm hoping to drop 10-15 pounds by April so I'll look fantastic as Yukari.

I am all in.... Last year I gained knowledge that the pounds have been creeping on. 3 kids ago I weighed 130 and since I don't think that is even fair for me to shoot for I am thinking of loosing 20 of these 185 lbs. I am 5' 6" and 31. To start with I will be giving up pop and start adding water and I will be walking 10-20 min per day. I think to begin with it will snowshoe walking since here in the great snow mountain country of mn I can hardly find my driveway. I have already limited what I put in and what I put into my body so I am unsure how much "dieting" (boy do I HATE that word) I will be doing but I am sure that if I can get into the water/walking deal I will look back into the food that I eat.

Gosh already a new year upon us.I did not meet my 160 goal from last year, but atleast I am not back up to 200 from a year ago. I will weigh in on Saturday.I am just hoping I am still under 180.The weight has been up and down during this holiday time!
