So, today for breakfast I had a small bowl of a brAn type cereal, like raisin bran but no raisins or sugar & a small banana. Lunch I had some nuts, and sinner was a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese ( low fat) and a 100 calorie can of peaches in lite syrup (drained). Plus several cups tea and water. Did pretty good today. :)

Did you count your calories? Did you see how much you need to cut or what your fat rate or protein or anything is for the day you can have to lose by your goal? That just seems like too few calories to me.

My first couple of days of my diet were horrible and cut way down, I found out after that time by putting all my info in at Sparkpeople that I cut my calories TOO much and I could eat more then I did. I still lost between 2-3 lbs a week. I felt much less cranky as my husband can attest to! LOL

I just went to Sparkpeople...that is SOOOOO cool!!! Hey, I thought I was doing terrible and I actually was under what I should have been taking in. I need more protein, good to know. If you haven't checked it out you should. Took a while for me to get the hang of it, but once I did it went fast. Hope everyone does great at weigh in tomorrow. Don't be disappointed if your weight loss isn't monumental. Remember, slower weight loss is healthier for you.

Ok, so this is when I have a really tough time dieting and eating healthy. I have been up for 16 hours and just got called back into work the moment I walked through my door. Now I'm exhausted and just want comfort/junk food...chocolate, candy, & carbs.

I gave up and put on a granny smock top!
I had a left over Christmas Biscuit with my coffee - it had icing on it. - Snow flakes - I feel so bad!!!!!!

I like the weight chart - nice to think I am not alone!!!!! I wonder if I will get half a stone off before 2nd Feb - do you guys think it is possible???? As I am going to Spain then. I am really trying to cut back on everything I can. If I have a biscuit or cake in the day I don;t have any deseart or Toast before bedtime!!!!

Just stay mindful. But try not to obsess. Small changes will show slow improvement. We did not get here in one day, so we have to slowly remove what we slowly put on. It will happen! I am

for us!

about 20 years ago, I had neighbors from Surrey. She got a kick out of me saying I had a rock in my shoe. She could not imagine the size of the shoe needed to get a rock in it. Your comment about 'a biscuit or a cake' reminded me of the small but giant difference in language usage.
