I know what ya mean. I like how i look in the mirror its my pics that I dont like... but I think pic's make alot of people look bigger unless you get that perfect angle.. It takes 20 pics for me to get a good one lol

in summer of 09 i was the smallest i'd been since highschool. I hated any pics of me. now 60 pounds later (not in a good way) i love those pics. moral of the story you never like pics of yourself no mater what you look like.

I had a bad diet day. hubby wanted mcds so i got a large carmel frappe thats 1/2 my calorie allowance so went over but at least i didn't throw the diet out the window just kept choices better.

This is sooooo true!! I remember when I was 135, then 145, then 155, then 165. . . you get the drift!! I kept telling myself how big I was. Now of course I'm happy to be down to 175. YIKES!!!!
That's what I weighed after I gave birth the second time and promised I'd never be that big EVER! Well, life happens doesn't it.

mom'sfolly, looking grumpy definitely makes you look older. I was at the grocery store years back and caught a glance of some one staring at me. I thought, "What's that old hag looking at." I realized then it was my reflection. Now I try to make an effort to relax my face and smile when I'm in public. I don't like scaring small children and nice doggies away.

Edited because I lost half my post for some reason.

Well, I want to say thanks for this thread because thinking of ya'll reminds me to be more active. Today I walked the dog twice and then hopped on my bike to ride to the store instead of driving! Yay!

Still waiting for the jeans to fit like 3goodeggs... Congrats, btw!

Good to everyone for keeping mindful. I think mindfulness is half the battle.

Wow Anna! you are doing so awesome!

Its currently my girl time... and I'm bloated... and I'm miserable.... and I feel like I've put on 5 lbs just because nature hates me for being a woman!

So if I'm still feeling like this Saturday, I am not weighing in to save my sanity!!!!!

I feel for you I am about to come on to and feel yuky and sluggish and bloated. However I really want to weigh in on Saterday because I wont be here to weigh in the week after. So I am really wanting to know my weight before I go and record it!!!!( I am finding it really helpful to write it down - it gives me a goal !!!! And knowing I am not alone and others will read it but wont judge is just sooo fantastic!!!) Its hard at the time of the month as it makes you put the weight on so its kind of not that acurate a reading! I tend to go down then up drastically all in the space of a few days.

Feel really awful for a week and then I start to recover. I am glad I should have my time before I go away. I am not keen on the Idea of struggling to the bathroom every 5 mins on a flight!!! I am terrified of planes!!!! - At least I know this time round the flight will be at least 1lb lighter!!!

Anyhow its a lovely sunny but cold day here my chickens are running round the yard and pecking at the back door for treats!!!! Everytime I sit down in the conservatory THEY are watching me!!!!

I was really good this morning and I did 15 mins excersize on the cross trainor - then I nearly died for half an hour!!!! But I am ok now!!!! I am looking foward to being away and getting the chance to go walking and eat nice healthy salads and lots of fish!!!

I keep packing and unpacking my bag and DH has weighed it about 10 times and then I empty it all again!!!!!

in 1 of the many diet books I've read it says to get on the scale 3 days in a row and avg it. If any of you are like me my wieght changes 5-7 pounds give or take a day it sucks. I personaly like to take the lowest and run with it.

I to amcursed this week its one of those can't wait for menapause days.

Looks like were all in sync. I haven't been tracking what I eat either since last weigh in. This non stop wind drives me insane, plus I picked up a couple of d'Uccles and am now realizing I have nowhere to put them. I'm a terrible stress eater. I hope I'm PMSing or else I won't be able to excuse my behavior or blame the extra weight gain on anything.

I am not counting calories, but I am trying to watch what I eat and how much. I think it is going pretty well for me.

I am still nursing and don't usually get my monthly back until my baby is 8 or 9 months old, so I don't need to worry about that yet, thankfully! If I am craving something sweet, I just remind myself that "Sunday's coming!"

Best wishes, all of you!

And I'm on the other end of it - maybe have Aunt Flo visit once a year. But yeah - I remember well those days. Ya'll have permission to skip the scale this week if you want. Don't get derailed by a number on a machine. Just take care of yourself. And remember, those herbal teas are warm and comforting and don't have calories!
