Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

oooooo shes beautiful.. look at all that hair.. mine just turned 6 mos... i have a 9 yr old girl , a 6yr old boy, and now a 6 month boy.. they are trying for 4th then will be done.. her dream is to be on a farm. right now they are in our old house. in a housing development i am sad to say..but they are saving and getting ready to try to move to a small farm next year..she makes her own bread, drys clothes on clothes line. makes her own laundry detergent, cans and freezes her garden. i think this generation of kids is awesome.. reminds me of our hippie days.. we have even talked about a family compound of sorts and we all help with the farm and animals, and gardens. becoming more self sufficient. heres my grandbabies

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh ooooooooooooooooh Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sooooo cute !!!!! I have a long way till I get 3/4 grand babies they are lovely kids!!!!!

Our Jessica is our only one right now though our daughter and her partner are keen to try for a boy in a few years. So I may get 2 eventually???

Its just gone 9.30am here and so far I have gotten Hubby up and made coffee/tea then threw him out the door with my car to do her( Matilda's) MOT not sure if you have those in the states but we have to have an MOT test every year on the cars. She had hers this morning and PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I still have wheels!!!!!

I got Danny up showerd fed and changed and put him on the bus, made all the beds and put a wash load on. Did the chickens and cleaned up the yard after the Dogs were out. Bathed Jessica and changed her and she is now playing on her play mat. - It wont be too long before she remembers she is hungry!
I think I managed to get myself dressed and presentable in amongst all that. Now I am getting a coffee and waiting for DH to come home with Matilda - Yes my car has a name !!!!!

wow your a busy lady oesdog. i am sitting here still waking up with a cup of coffee.. going to have dinner with friends tonight. i hate weigh in on saturdays because friday nights the girls all get together to play.. one is bringing stuffed manacotti, one garlic bread, i'm bringing the salad and one has desert. with all that food and wine it is hard to stay good and eat just a little. i have done great this week so far . stayed between 1200 and 1500 calories. no starving this week. and i feel good about it .... good luck all on tomorrows weigh in...GO PEEPS!!!

Well Dh and I even managed to clip one of the dogs today as well - Hes Old English so has the pelt of a sheep litterally - years ago they used to weave it and make jumpers!!! It took a good few hours and three bin bags full of fur!! He is looking a wee bit sorry for himself but its for the best really as you need to clip once or twice a year to treat for fleas and mites and look their skin over. Anyhow he will get over it in a few days. Our little schnouzer got really upset and started crying when we took Murph to bath him after his cut ( Sheep dip!) Little does he know ITS HIS TURN TOMORROW!

I am rather worried about tomorrow and the weigh in - I got myself all worked up this week and did well till yesterday. NOw I just think the scale will tell me I put back on the lb I lost last week. I am a bit worried and low on it to be honest but I have to face it and thats is a good thing longterm.

Oesdog - feel soooooooo fat today.

Well, today and tonight I'll be baking for orders... we're busy busy busy here with work.

And guess what.... I think I start a new job next week! HOORAY!

So I'll have my business, which has been fairly steady, and I'll have a part time job from home about 15 hours per week. So I'm hoping to cut down on my eating a bit more since I won't do any bored eating.

The daughter husband and I will also be doing our Saturday walking... tomorrow looks to be a nice day. Now that he is working again, our moods have changed around here, and we have this 'get up and go' good feeling again. Like we can take on the world (once my monthly visitor is GONE)!

I WISH I was as skinny as I was after I had my first one almost 26 years ago!! I remember being able to fit into my regular clothes a week after giving birth.
My youngest is five.....I told the older ones they have to wait until she's ten before having any kids. Love, love, love babies!!!!

Annaraven, thank you for your encouragement. It's amazing what an "atta boy" can do for me (that's what I tell my horse and he'll do anything for an "atta boy".)
