I am happy to read about everyone that is still working on change.

Boy is it hard and life sure wants to throw you a curve.

I had both vertigo and plantar fasciitis pop up in the past month. Still eating better.....but not any closer to new jeans......

Oh well, I did not gain in a day, and I will not loose it all in a day either.

What is that 2 steps forward and 1 step backwards.

Elizabeth, I haven't read all of the posts from you here, but I was wondering if you have had your thyroid checked? Do you know if there is a medical reason?

I go to the hospital all the time (immuno-deficient, bleh) so you'd think they'd have checked my thyroid? I know I sometimes have liver issues but this is not that - liver issues hurt, haha.

I was really really ill recently up until about 2-3 days ago, so it would be alright to assume I'd lose a little this week. The first days I was working on gaining I was *trying* but still not eating much. I'm thinking if I give it 2-3 days to settle in there I might see a difference?

I hurt my back so I've been out of the exercise game for the past week. Just means you'll have to watch
your calories a little closer, no extras while you're not exercising...don't worry about losing, just try not to
gain during your recovery.

Well, I was doing so well. Now I have acute bronchitis aggravated by asthma and allergies. .... or at least that's what it took 8 hours at the emergency room to decide? !? gesh. I walked into the the walk in and said,"I think I have bronchitis or I am starting Pneumonia and with my pulmonary history I promise this will get out of hand very quickly."
NEVER say your chest hurts. Even if you have pulled your pleural membrane away from your chest wall.. EKG.. ambulance ride.. for Pete's sake. REALLY? I guess it is to make sure the only people that survive this economic depression are the doctors. They will get paid slowly and LAST. I am already in the red in a really big way. They never ask what your deductible is, they see that insurance card and order every test they can get away with. 10,000 deductible. I bet that's what they were aiming for too.

blaa. no more walking for a while...or eating for that matter. at least in Florida we won't be below freezing for more than two days at a time. We can survive that.

3goodeggs: Feel better.

I did a lot of heavy-snow shoveling today so I feel like I got at least SOME exercise! Have more to do today because I can't get to my workshop where I have some building supplies there. I've got to throw something together for my pair of chickens I have in the garage. They are going stir crazy and really need to get out, and I need to clean that garage coop to get it ready for new chicks.

That's how I'll be spending my day. Well, that, and connecting some tall boxes inside for when I bring the chicks home this weekend. Quickie brooder coop!
