Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

Well sure beats my eating lately! Its like I just quite or something.

Today, I had a mini bagel, with a slice of american cheese & mustard. I also had a piece of turkey sausage & 2 pancakes w/ real maple syrup. Then I had 1 1/2 pieces of cheese cake (the 1/2 was because my daughter didn't finish her's and I wasn't going to waste it! LOL).

Other then 2 cups of coffee, I have a glass of 100% apples juice... and that's been it.

Tonight I will have chicken breast (from my asian sticky crock pot recipe in the recipe section) w/ some asian sesame cole slaw from our garden cabbage & shoe string carrots.

I broke the other day and ice cream... that's when I noticed, I've caught myself eating after 8pm!? I don't know why I keep doing that... its been one of the hardest habits to break.

I'm having control issues...

I do know one thing though - if I am really really hungry and go get a few glasses of water instead of pigging out - in the morning I feel so much better with myself and I DO FEEL THINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

elizabethbinary - You so eat more than me!!!!!!!!! Which is good for you - but I so struggle to lose weight!!! I have changed my habits a deal and am trying to eat eggs etc for breakfast instead of lunch.

I think my BMR is something like 2200 which is why I need to eat so much. Maybe I really do have a thyroid problem then though. Since I wasn't feeling sick I didn't go to the doctor (I know I know I'm SORRY! D: D

....but I don't eat huge portions? Like 1/2c quinoa and half a punnet of berries (100g?) and 100-150g salmon steaks. Is that it? Now I'm worried I do eat a lot and I have a problem!

Cruuuuuud hahaha.

I always have a water bottle with me, really does help!

When I feel hungry at night, I usually have berries or a piece of dark chocolate. I got the chocolates from far away so I am too scared to eat more than once piece, hahaha. There's a diet tip: only buy super pricey chocolate and ice cream so you cry at the thought of eating it.

SO GLAD YOU FEEL THINNER YAAAAAAAY!! The feeling is the BEST isn't it?

My husband says it looks like I gained 2kg... the scales say no, but I FEEL like I do and that is the best!!
 
Well snap. I better hop on this bus!

I see the spreadsheet, will get my numbers in there. Maybe this morning I'll get through all 1000 pages of posts too!

Folks, I'm not weighing in tomorrow. I've been off my blood pressure meds for several days, one of which is a diuretic (combo pill). Last time this happened I gained 8 pounds in two days. I'm avoiding the scale as not to get too depressed over a temporary weight gain.

i've been exercising almost every day, 3x/ week strength training and 4x cardio. But I have been eating like there is no tomorrow. I'm just having a lot of trouble with the food part lately.
