Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

I am were oesdog was, working, walking, and eating less and not an ounce. I still blame the Gatorade.
I can not find just 'salts'

go to a sports store.... see if you can buy just the tablets.. if not.. call your dr to see if he can help you get them.
 
Okay I'm back in the swing of things! towards the end of May my sister and i are meeting up with an old friend and I'm setting that as a goal for losing ten pounds! I'm gonnapost my "numbers" here...very uncharacteristic for me...but If I'm gonna lose 10 pounds in 5 weeks, I gotta do this. I am at 159 pounds and my waist is 31. I think I will re-weigh and measure once a week.... I have liquid L-Carnitine and Papaya pills (the guy at vitamin world said that should help lol)

I think I told you guys I have a tendency to hit the trail mix when I get woke up by our big lab in the early hrs to let him out to potty... Well I bought some Crystal light... and it has put a stop to raiding the trail mix.

I don't need it every day... but it does the trick when I need help... Ok I have a ten cent idea.... I am going mix up a glass full of Crystal light wild strawberry to partially fill the cubicals in an ice tray... Don't want to break my teeths so just going to make little cubes. I think this might help me alot say around 4:00 when it is not quiet dinner time yet.... I can put some in a glass ... crunch some of the cubes and drink the ones that melt

I don't want to make a habit out of consuming too much artifical sweeteners soo limiting is a must.
 
I have to admit, I found out I put on a lb.

Disappointed in me for sure over that one. I'm still eating well though, the garden is pouring out an early spring harvest already and I'm enjoying the spoils. So I've been snacking and making a lot with onions, spinach and radish. Last night I made chicken in the crockpot and ended up with some nice 'pulled' chicken breast in a homemade BBQ sauce sweetened with honey & balsamic vinegar. Then I topped the sandwiches (with whole wheat rolls) with a spinach I sauteed quickly in onions & garlic. Through in a few sundried tomatoes I canned last year. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. And pretty healthy too! Tonight may be a duck egg quiche with spinach and turkey bacon bits. Of course all served with a side salad since I have lettuce & carrots to through in that mix.

Gatorade has a no sugar version, and so does propel, and power aid. It is artificial sweetner, but no calories.​

I had a stupid day. That's a day where I made really stupid decisions! I ended up eating WAY too many carbs. I had bought some new cereal (cinnamon cheerios). I had some for breakfast. Then for dessert after lunch. Then for snack. Then for just cuz they tasted good and didn't want to stop munching... UGH! I also had a homemade caramel macchiatto. My blood sugar was WAY too high. UGH!

I had to go hit some protein and then lie down for a while just to recuperate before my class.
