In many ways I am! Seriously...I've fought with those precious beads of sweat and tears to get to this level of achievement! Ive always been a dancer...love Zumba and hip hop so that is like dessert for me. But after each kid, ive had postpartum thyroiditis (hyperthyroid). So my baby weight slides off, but my resting heart rate was 120, my muscles atrophied (because my body was turned on high all the time), my thighs were thin but they trembled with effort. Couldn't make it through any class without stopping like 5 times. I could barely use 10 lb hand weights, they were so heavy. And then the thyroid problem burned out....but I started gaining weight back, including weak muscle. I've finally hit the point of these being MY muscles, MY endurance, I'm using them for all their worth for sure!

Ok, off my soapbox...yeah, you can see I'm proud now! ;-)

Thats really good - I just didn;t want you upset or anything like cause it was only banter and I know folk can be sensitive and things come over different when your typing not actually in the room etc. I have struggled much to - a few years ago I was so ill with Fibromyalga I couldn;t walk the length of a room and had to litterally crawl to shower and change my disabled boy wh o is 23yrs. I was walking with a stick it was horrendous!!! Keep it up and just ignor my insensitivity I am a BAD GIRL!!!!!

You are SO not insensitive... I saw the smiley faces, I saw the support in the comment. It'd be what I'd do to my friends so hush your mouth! ;-) how is the fibromyalgia now? I've had one friend have it and she said the pain was excruciating. :-( breaks my heart to know that people have to endure so much pain. But I'm glad that you sound like you're on a good path, now!

Sometimes it is very very painful but I am much improved. The turning point for me came when I was in Art class and a girl came in walking with a zimmer frame - the next week she didn;t come and the following week and the week after that. Finally we started to ask where is she and why isn;t she here???? Apparently she had Fibro and was so crippled she couldn;t get out of bed. She was my age!!!!!! I vowed then that I wouldn;t get that bad ever and I have been fighting ever since. When I got really bad days and the pain was really bad I just walked all kind of screwed up like an old lady but I kept darn well walking!!! It was very hard but I was not ending up like that girl and now I never think of using a stick!!!!!! That is why I have struggled so much with excersize because it just crippled me if I did the slightest wee thing. Now I am bouncing my way to fitness and I have been out walking the Dogs on the beach and everything today. So its well improved I just need to shed a few stone in weight and I am looking foward to that comming off too.
Yes I had days of excrusiating pain. My husband had to endure watching me crawl on the floor because I couldn't get up with the agony and I would cry with it sooo much but its way better. I am never going back to that and I am doing so much more. Today I bounced and did the x trainor and walked the Dogs and sorted a chicken run for my other brain injured twin so hay I am fine - crazy in the head but the rest of me is ok!!!!

well, I am doing quite well for this week.
I started giving the boiled egg yolks to the dogs. I am more popular and thinner for it too.

I also pulled the Wii fit out from under the sofa.
I am hula hooping my way down the scales. I figure if oesdog can bounce it off, then I can twirl it off. Who needs a gym?

Came across a jeans sale today, and have to say jeans makers really need to go back and take elementary math again, maybe twice! It seems I wear a size 4 ...... 6 ....... 9 .......... 10 ......... and 12.

Well its a better day today as I am deffinately doing something right for a change with all this bouncing!!

144 - 10 st 4 lbs!!!!!!!

I am trying to lose another 18lbs at least but its going to be a long job I think! I am feeling a bit better as I am making better choices and doing a bit of excersize. I didn;t actually realise how Fat I had managed to get myself. It is so easy to pile on the pounds without thinking or making an excuse " oh its Christmas I can lose this extra 5 lbs Etc" Before last Christmas I managed to get myself down to 142 lbs and piled it back on so its taken me best part of this year to be anyway close to that again. I am on the right track now though I think. It is sooo good to have support and friendship through this.

Had a bad time the last few days with the chickens. Gerty who was sat on 6 eggs killed the only two chicks to hatch! We took the other 4 eggs away but although they feel heavey no sign of hatching and they should have been out by now. So I think they are dead as well. I am so disapointed in Gerty - she prefers to mother mice! A very odd kind of Maran! Bertha my "good" momma red Sussex bless her is nursing a very badly injured leg and so is unlikely to be of any use for a good while yet.

So thats my news - oh and I found a Bat in the fire place who is now living in the feed store so I have to get him better and release him too as Bats are protected here. We don;t have rabies before anyone gets worried and they are harmless in Ireland!
