All the fat in an egg is in the yolk, I believe it is 5 gms/ yolk. Most of the protien in the egg is in the white.

I have been soo busy this summer....Praise the Lord the weight is coming off alot faster than I ever dream. Sad part is... I am 51 yrs old and my skin just isn't retracting like it use to. I now have a turkey neck, saggy smile, and what looks like the on set of baggy knees.. oh almost for got the chicken wings.. lol Mercy... Sure am thankful for real clothes to hide all that... those fig leaves just wouldn't cut it.. lol

You make me smile!!

Someone said the other day on TV - " you don't get wrinkles in a balloon!!" I guess if we want to lose weight it is something we have to live with! Skin just doesn;t do what it used to when we were kids!!

So I heard from oesdog and know her bouncing is still going well. Awesome news oesdog!!!!!!! 3goodeggs how goes the twirling? Everyone else how is everyone doing? Still sticking w/ it?

It's been busy here, but hot and dry. I haven't lost much more, but am holding my own and getting stronger, can do several yoga posses better then when I started. My clothes are still baggy, and I was able to squeeze my thick waist into a size 4 jean (I don't really wear a size 4, those were not an average 4) But I can look at the label and feel good! lol

Twirling and stepping! I seem to have slowed down on the weight loss, but I am definitely firmer.
I think the wii is a good trainer, but my, does it gossip! And I am hoping my belly doesn't show for much longer. My mii needs to buy a bigger shirt.

Hey all - I'm about to start a medically supervised VLCD (very low calorie diet). Today is my last day of "free food". I will be doing the HRM program http://www.hmrprogram.com/ through a local Dr.s clinic. I think its just what I need. The program I'm doing is the "Decision free" , I will be totally on meal replacements and go in for weekly physical assessments and group support. I'm nervous and exited.

I did a vlcd, but mine wasn't medically supervised and I did well on it, the trick is after the diets over you need to be fanatically strict! Seriously no cheating at all for the first month or so anyway to set your new weight / metabolism. I lost 30 lbs and have kept it off over about 6 months now (I think I lose track of time a lot).

Don't let the nay sayers get you down, they will come out of the woodwork to tell you how bad an idea it is and how it won't work and your killing yourself, etc...... Listen to your body and your results not them. Everyone is different and reacts differently to weight loss plans this may work for you where it didn't work for someone else. While it's true it isn't an eating plan that is doable for the rest of your life, it's not supose to be, it is just to get you to a place where you can make the healthy life long changes.
