Anyone Remember Me...

What a wonderful way to celebrate your lives together.

Well I am glad you had a person in your life to love and to love you back. It sounds like you made the most of her time remaining with you. You are lucky you had that.

Thought I'd share a pic of us when we first moved here, & a stupid little chicken invaded our life.

Lucky will be 11 this year, & will miss Jan digging up the garden for her to pick through.

Thanx for all the good wishes from my BYC extended family. It means a lot to me..

Your wife is beautiful and it sounds like your life together was beautiful as well. I can tell the way you write about her that you loved each other very much. You were both so lucky to have each other and to get to spend your last months together doing what you always wanted to do. I can tell you are a husband that she was very proud of. Congratulations on having what most people spend their lives looking for.

I enjoy following your chicken adventures because I have a D'uccle like Lucky and when I first joined the forum, I didn't know much about anything chicken, and you and your chickens caught my attention. I can't believe she is 11 years old!

Happiness and laughter is good for the soul...and it is good to have you pop back in here...there is surely enough laughter to go around on this forum, especially when PC is around!!

(edited to add that I joined the forum a couple of years ago...but had a different user name!)

LCRT! HI! Been a long time...glad to see you back. Sounds like Jan was a very special person; lucky you for finding her when you did. It was a neat thing you did in her last months. KUDOS, and WELCOME BACK!
