Anyone set with me this weekend? Set 28 October - Hatching 18 November

We hatched three of our four so far this week! They were due to hatch today, but two hatched yesterday, and one the day before! One more pipped through yesterday and we have had nothing more until about an hour ago it pipped in another spot and there is a crack between the two now. We were afraid it may have died, but we are hopeful again! If this one makes it ok it will give us a 100% hatch rate on our very first attempt at hatching. I can say I am for sure addicted now, but will be very sad when other hatches are not as successful..

my first one is out of the incubator because it was dry and my fan fell, the last thing I wanted was for it to walk into the fan.

It is lonely and waiting for the next one. I have one other that has pipped and one that is peeping

well, i just had a bad experience. my first one just died. I waited 5 hours after it hatched to take it out of the incubator and only then because space was limited. It was dry and walking fine. Guess she just hatched too soon?

just i chick cam out of egg :)... now he is moving here and there when to remove that from incubator, he is disturbing other eggs,

wait til they're dry, fluffy and walking around. They can be in there for 24 - 36 hours without needing food.

I got a time lapse video of my next two hatching. I quickly went in to the incubator and propped a piece of wire in front of the fan so that I don't have to worry about them getting too close to is

OperationHatch, so sorry about your chick.

Rahul: congratulations on a great hatch!

6lilchicks: We're neighbors! Don't stress about your chickens being outside in the winter, I look at it like this, there are many wild birds out all winter long that do well. Yours will too.

My second set is due to hatch any day now. I upped the humidity last night around 9pm and had a hard time regulating the temp and humidity until about 5 this morning, so hopefully they will still be able to hatch. One was rocking last night when I took them out of the turner but i haven't heard any peeping so we'll see.
