they kept them for 3 weeks!? thats pretty cool. ours only keep them for a day or 2 (so they dont have to feed them) they change so much in 3 weeks! i will have to look up breese... im not sure what they are!!My 12 Bresse chicks came home from school today. They are 3 weeks old today. We set 15 eggs May 3rd. One failed to develop, one developed but failed to hatch. And one hatched and failed to thrive. The rest are strong and healthy and so so friendly. They came home to hatch over Memorial Day weekend and then went back to school for the last three weeks. So great to have them back with us. I bought caponizing tools - we'll see if I dare. In any event they'll head to freezer camp in September and October. Next week we'll build them a coop. For now they are in a brooder in the garage. Fun to have babies again!
