Anyone setting eggs starting July 15 -July 22?

I'm on day 21, and no pipping.  I accidentaly bumped the bator and heard a peeping noise coming from it.  I don't know what to think, I keep reading all these posts about late hatches and can't stand the suspense!  Should I wait another 48 hours before doing the water test? 

What's the water test?

I am on day 23 and nothing.. Threw away one this morning that smelled bad... '-(

mon but i had a breeding pair and she is broody so at leats3 are fertle.

you float them in water to see if they are still viable

I would be worried about drowning the chick inside if it is still alive. Especially this close to hatching. I would suggest waiting the 48 and then MAYBE helping to pip the fat end of the egg where the air sack is if you are that worried and still have no pips.

thanks for the advice! I'm a worry wart and I can't stand the wait!! maybe next time I go look they will be be out and alright, here's me hoping!

Today is day 18. I was going to candle them yesterday but I couldn't find the flashlight. Guess I'll just have to wait it out.
