I got the lazy chickies - all they've done is give me a little tremor every now and then in response to my tapping the bator or if I make chirpy noise - one very exciting moment was when I took them out once, held the eggs to my ear while tapping lightly and the chicks gave me a chirp and I could feel them moving...haven't touched them since. I call their movements little tremors because they just move slightly, real quickly so you pretty much have to stare real hard at the eggs because if you take your eyes off them, you'll miss it....
I do have a bit of condensation happening in the second window but I've been on top of it - other than the little tremors they give me when I tap the bator or chirp at them, nothing else is happening.
I'm on day 19. My first hatch, the eggs were more active - you could literally see them without needing to stare them down...and by day 20 they had made that little hole and a few hours later had hatched...I think I'm going to get some right on time chickies this time...
Good to read about everyone's progress.
