Anyone successful with Black soldier Flies in New England?

Hello-
I've been reading up on the BSF larvae. Mostly everyone who uses them (okay, RAVES about them) lives in a nicer (okay, WARMER) climate. I've read that their life cycle slows down in cooler weather, and there isn't much activity below 70 degrees F.
This being New England, where we can have all 4 seasons in one 24 hr period, is there anyone out there who can tell me if I can convince a BSF colony to relocate and thrive in our humble farm?
Also, I have a newbie question: if I feed all the larvae to the chickens, how do I get new larvae?
For everyone dying to make chicken/egg yokes, feel free, but also give me some advice please!
