Hi,
We are new to chickens and were told we have a 95% chance they are hens. However, one of the chicks has a comb developing a lot faster than the others (all the same age, 2 weeks and two days). They are Buff Orpingtons. The one we think could be a rooster is definitely the most aggressive of the bunch-flapping its wings in the others faces, pecking at them and chasing them. I suspect it's too early to tell and could very well be the ladies working out the pecking order. We can't have roosters so the sooner we work this out, the better.Posting another photo of his/her feathers, in case that helps.Thank a ton!
you!
