We think Kylo Hen is actually Kylo Rooster!

Unfortunately, that won't happen. The boys already have the long wispy male feathers visible in their hackle and saddle areas. You can also see bright blocks of red coming in on the shoulders. The female also has some red, but hers isn't quite as bold and in a more uniform pattern.
 
Ah so these are red Anconas? They were hatched from white eggs, but because of the brown feathers I thought they must have been cross bred somewhere along the line. I hadn't heard of red Anconas!
You’re in Australia correct? They exist there. I can’t speak for other countries for certain
