Anyone try Kalmbach Feed?

I sent my daughter to pick up starter/grower from the local Feed store. We've always picked up Purina from there. This time they loaded the feed as usual, she drove 20 min home, and found they had given her Kalmbach Feed from Sandusky, OH instead of our usual Purina start and grow feed. Any one use the Kalmbach brand before. I only have a couple days of feed left and don't really relish the trip out to exchange the feed. Our chicks are 3 at 15 weeks, 7 at 10 weeks, and 5 at 7 weeks. Think it's ok to feed Kalmbach starter grower for game birds?

I been using Kalmbach for about a year now and I like it... I believe that the Starter/Grower that you might have got is the Kalmbach 1044. I used the 1044 Crumble on all my chicks/ducklings this year and they grew great.. I think I pay around 15.00 a 50 lbs bag down here in Hartville..

Thanks Chris. I guess it just surprised me to find a different bag in the trunk of the car. We'll give it a try...who knows, I may like it more!
