) at the show in Lake City, Fl.
 
i use a postal scale then convert to grams. it is an expensive scale from my old ebay shipping days. sorry no caps. typing one handed while snuggling two emu chicks around my neck.
 
I have a digital scale I got for school, it was $35 and weights up to 11lb. I think you could find a decent one at a grocery store with the kitchen stuff. Don't get a spring scale, the more you put on and the more you use it, the more inaccurate it gets. Get a digital scale
 
I have a question. I put my eggs in the incubator at 10:30 am today and turned them at 7pm. I never weighed them so I took them out one at a time to weigh and egg number 2 looked like the pictures below. It looks like the egg white is oozing through the shell and "cooking" onto the outside of the shell, yet there are no cracks on the shell that I can see with a magnifying glass. Is this normal to get an get that can ooze?
