sure you will... I started mine in January.. have had three hatch.. added more eggs.. have more to hatch this weekend.. then more to hatch out on the 15th.. and my last one is due in April.. so I am gonna miss hand turning all my emu eggs!
 
same thing here I noticed today that the cool spot is smaller...now what?

ok.. if you're on day 49 then take each egg out and set it on a flat surface.. whichever way the egg settles place it back into the bator that same way.. so if your number on your egg is face up when you have it on the counter.. when you put it back into the bator have the number facing the exact same way.. the chick SHOULD hatch out from the side that faces up.. if you notice where it cracks along the bottom rotate the egg a bit so the break is facing up a little more to allow the chick room to push the shell off... out of the ones that I have had hatch so far one silly chick decided to hatch out of the bottom of the egg.. so I had to rotate it a bit so he could finish.. the others hatched out through the air cell which was facing up

Irine, your dogs are amazing & what a gorgeous breed! I'm a huge dog person & have always taken pride in my knowledge of all the different breeds but I have to say I have never heard of CAS's. Your site is great, I'm still looking it over lol. Pretty please update me on here of your dam's progress also, I hope the puppies & her go through delivery ok.

Ok I'm kind of embarrassed for asking but what is sounding? It's the certain noise you hear when you tap on the egg, right? My eggs are now on day 33, what should I be looking for? Two days ago I swore I saw 3 of them wiggle but the last 2 days I can't seem to confirm what I saw, I've checked them twice both days. I need to look back & see what methods I can use for day 33 eggs, so far I haven't been able to hear anything with my stethoscope & if I ever do I'll let you all know.

I'm 99% certain egg D is bad, it's the only one keeping the smell outside the incubator & it seems to be getting stronger daily...should I remove it from the bator? Is it possible for it to harm the other eggs in the bator that are developing by bacteria or something? If told it's best to remove it I was thinking of drilling a small hole in the aircell end, surely if it's rotten I'll be able to clearly confirm it by smelling through the hole then if there's a chick would it be ok with the small hole?

No, I don't have miniature emus... LOL These are my new Coturnix Quail. 2 out of 3 eggs hatched. I am so glad I have two. Now, my question is: What in the world do I feed them?
