I have a question for you guys... When you 'turn' your eggs, how do you actually 'turn' them? Do you roll them over or flip them? Just curious what is the recommended method of turning.

I have been rolling them. I just roll the eggs one way, and the next time the other way. But this is my first time, so I may be doing it wrong.![]()
Two more days until the first weighing date!!e
I remember being excited my first weigh in to![]()
Ok I'm panicking a little so please give me your advice. I think egg B (my extremely football shaped one) has sounded as is sounds completely different then the rest but I have a problem. I'm pretty sure it's a the wrong end of the egg!! While holding it up to my ear I heard it peeping in response to my whistle but at the wrong end! At the aircell end all I hear is scratching but at the wrong end I can pinpoint where the chicks beak is...what do I do? I'm all for helping if needed & I'm afraid it's going to suffocate. They're on day 46 today
That's really exciting, if it's on day 30 then there's a pretty good chance it did wiggle. One of mine wiggled on day 31 & it was really subtle. I had an egg on day 26 that did that, it would roll one way, stop, then roll the other way. I think it really was doing it because it was also the first egg to wiggle...Yesterday my Earl egg may have wiggled... but I can't tell. I weighed him and put him on the counter, he rolled, then stopped and seemed to almost start to roll again but I don't know if it was the shape of the egg or the baby inside... it was day 30.
How long can they peep in the shell safely without being worried? I guess I'm afraid it's going to use up the air in its egg but it gets oxygen through the shell right? So my pump should give it plenty of air I think...I already have read all the info but once it actually happens all my knowledge goes out the window lol.
