Anyone up for a Hatchalong?

That's what I was thinking...& hoping not. At first I thought it was just trying to catch its balance where it just hatched but it's been doing it for an hour now. I tried to stop it everytime, at first the legs looked fine but after a while it was clear they were getting more & more stretched forward & out. Other than that it seems healthy & is whistling up a storm mad it's taped/wrapped up into the sock but I was afraid if left alone the legs could be severely out of place or permanently damaged by in the morning so that's all I could think of to do until told otherwise :(

Should do a full tally of all the Emus hatched between everyone in this thread when the season ends, has to be at least 30 or 40 between everyone it seems.

thank you for the info!
Ok please help me figure out what's going with chick C...my problem egg! I need to know if this is normal for an hour old chock or if I need to do something & if so, what? Please watch video number 5033 in the link, it's legs get spread farther & farther every minute!
