I have heard of people using revolution or advantage on their poultry and ducks for prevention/treatment of mites and lice..anyone do this before? Curious,,thanks :)

I use it on the cats, don't think it's for ducks. My ducks haven't had a problem with them in 2.5 years. Hope we can keep up the record!

There are other products for waterfowl, but as I wrote, I have not needed to get any.

I use DE on them either way,,hoping this stands true to it's good name! One of my ducks are moulting and look terrible!! really ratty and raggy looking :(( poor girl,,but if she had something, the rest would to right??

I wouldnt reccomend that stuff. Ducks very rarely get lice or mites But if they do 5% sevin dust can be applied on them or if you feel more comfortable just sprinkle it all in their pen. I have found this to be the most safe and effective for most bird bug problems of any kind and you can get it most any where.

ok..thank you :)) I will continue using the DE I have,it does pretty much the same as sevin dust... prefer the natural approach rather than the pesticides :)

How do you use DE on cats? Does anybody know? I know the chickens will just dust bathe it on themselves... but cats aren't so accommodating!
