Anyone using these roll out boxes for ducks?

Hello,

my ducks are staying outside during the night next to a pond, where they also lay their eggs. That worked pretty well for some time, but now eggs are dissappearing. I am thinking about putting up these roll out boxes next to the pond with some fake eggs attached to them. Any chance this would work?

Sounds like a table fit for predators. I don't think that is a wise idea inside a secure house yes not outside where they are literally sitting ducks. Guess who is coming to dinner?

They don't like to be locked in at night, so they have been sleeping outside for over a month now. So far, it has worked. They have access to a bigger pond where they flee in case something comes in.
