Yes, thank you, I fell very lucky! I know what it’s like to have too manyI believe the first one is a hen, not a roo. Sorry! It's difficult to tell with the others without a pic of the tail feathers to see if they've got saddle feathers. From what I can tell, you don't seem to have any roosters! That's a very lucky and rare thing. Most get too many roos and don't know what to do with them.
I absolutely love roosters, but I can't keep them, which always breaks my heart.Yes, thank you, I fell very lucky! I know what it’s like to have too manyand it’s rough. Even though I want to breed, I’m not worried about a rooster too much
it’s hilarious how easy it is to get one for free, because no one wants them.
I feel you thereI absolutely love roosters, but I can't keep them, which always breaks my heart.
My name is Kerri and I'm a rooster lover.I absolutely love roosters, but I can't keep them, which always breaks my heart.
aww thats adorable, some roosters are just the sweetest. My name is Kerri and I'm a rooster lover.
I keep adding hens to keep the ratio at 8 to 10 because there are just some roos that I absolutely fall in love with and refuse to let go of. I have one that purrs when I hold and pet him. He's my new boyfriend. My husband doesn't seem to mind him so much, but has a problem with the number of hens I need to have. He's still learning chicken math.
I'm so sorry he's gone. There are those special ones that we will always carry with us. I lost a very special one last year. His name was Mudd. It got changed from Maybelle. He was the tiniest Silkie/Americuana mix with the biggest attitude that would run to me for cuddles every time I stepped out of the house. I wonder sometimes if I'll ever stop missing my special boy.aww thats adorable, some roosters are just the sweetest.I had one that i got at 8 weeks, raised him when he couldnt be around my rooster, and he was so sweet. he wasHUGE and would perch on my shoulder. He liked following me around, and would purr.. sadly he died last year, still love him, my baby boy blue.
