Ha Ha!! When you spend as much time on the water as we do you are bound to have things happen. We fish like 5 days out of the week until deer season starts. Before we had a child we even tournament fished.

I'm so sorry! Been there, done that! I went out paddle boating one time with my dd. It was cloudy, but we didn't think much about it. Then once we got well out in the lake, the heavens just opened up on us.
Here we are out the middle of a lake, on a boat, it's lightning and thundering constantly, pouring rain on us. We prayed, sang praise songs, and paddled our hearts out to get back to shore. On the way, an alligator jumped out of the water right in front of our boat. It was a really terrifying experience-if thel lightning didn't get us, the alligators would!
We eventually made it back to shore and to dry quarters. Now if the sky is even thinking about raining I won't go out.
