We incubated some eggs from a Silver Laced Wyandotte hen when she abandoned the nest after a week of sitting. We have two roosters. A silver laced Wyandotte rooster, and a Bantam Lavender Ameraucana. We always thought the Bantam couldn't reach, but the Wyandottes are fairly small and young.
So... The chicks that hatched are each about 1 ounce, or 30 grams a day or two after hatching. Now a week old they still look tiny compared to the other various breed chicks we have that were hatched around 12/10.
