Okay, I got 4 straight run buff orpingtons and 2 'red pullets' from TSC in early March, these pictures are from when the chicks were 6 weeks. The orpingtons I'm not sure of sex, and the reds I'm not sure of breed (and hopefully they do look like pullets!!). The guy up front, pretty sure he's a boy. The two buffs on the left, pretty sure they are hens....that 3rd buff from the left, just not sure at all. That ones comb/wattles look like the ones I suspect are female but the body is more similar to the one I suspect is a boy. Obviously in this first picture you can only see his/her butt...probably not much help

Another view of them, 2 buffs in the middle are the ones I suspect are females, guy up front I suspect is a male and the one off to the very right is mystery chick

Just another view of some of them.

Any guesses? I think the breeds that were an option for the reds were sex links, productions, rhode islands or new hampshires?
I'm hoping that I have 5 hens and a rooster...but what are the chances I actually got that lucky ;)

I think you might have a couple of roo's there.

In pic #1, that buff orp on the right = roo and the red one in the back I'd be suspicious of.

Pic # 2, the buff orp in the lower right = roo, the other BO on the far right, not sure from that pic. And that red one on the left? I don't know but those seem like some mighty big legs!

Pic # 3, red roo perhaps and the center BO roo.

I'm guessing in #2 the closet BO is a cockerel, the rest of the BO's look like pullets. Can't really see the reds as good though.
