Anyone want to talk about the new season of Doctor Who?!

@Dona Worry I have arrived! *groaning brakey tardis noises*
I am absolutely loving this new season! Jodie is brilliant! I love her accent way more than I should...

Rosa
honestly made me cry a little, everyone having to be part of Rosa parks story, being part of why she got arrested and not being able to say or do anything to help because it had to happen... Just hurt.

The Blatant racism also hurt. Ryan really pushed his anger aside for the greater good and got to hang out out with Rosa parks and Martin luther king Jr. His Nan would have loved to meet these wonderful people.

I hope they put the spotlight on Yaz soon. I think she's a great character so far, but I want more. I wonder if Graham can ever get Ryan to call him grandpa.:old

Midnight is one of my favorite episodes too! The day of the doctor Is up there too. Along with The girl in the fireplace, The time of the angels and many more. The vampires of venice is the first episode I remember watching, I didn't watch any when they first aired until Capaldi's last season.

Going from Capaldi to Jodie is like going from a grumpy cat to an excited corgi! :gig
I really liked the conversation Ryan and Yaz had about racism in their time. Kind of a call to action to see that it's not all better yet, there's still issues.

Oh I don't know--Capaldi was my first Doctor, and I fell in love the second he shouted "Hello you big beautiful lady!" at a dinosaur in the middle of London.

While Capaldi isn't my favorite doctor, I do love him. He was, and is, the doctor. And from my point of view anyone that has and will be The Doctor deserves some of my love.

Even if I don't like the acting of any particular actor, I still love the character!

So! We ready to talk yet???
This episode was great, but I didn't think it was as strong as the first three. It felt a little rushed, THERE WAS NO TEA AT YAZ'S, and I wasn't happy with the resolution.
Also, Ryan was sort of left out of this episode.
I still enjoyed it immensely, and any show that can make me feel compassion towards spiders is pretty darn good, but it felt like there were too many plot holes.

Oh, and I will be VERY disappointed if there is a Yaz/Doctor ship. I adore Yaz, but I have hated ALL of the Doctor/ human ships, they are fundamentally bad.
