Rewatching it now. SO many plot holes, but still so good?!I just saw the episode. Loved it! I bet the pompous businessman will come back and make trouble later.

I enjoy watching them dash around as much or more than I like the actual plots, lol.Rewatching it now. SO many plot holes, but still so good?!
How did the massive spider breed?I enjoy watching them dash around as much or more than I like the actual plots, lol.
Didn't it have food in there for 6 months? And don't they die well before that age? Agree though. Sorry, doc, sometimes a bullet to the head IS kindest. How did the massive spider breed?
How did the trash get above ground for Yaz's dad to collect?
In what universe is letting creatures starve to death more humane than shooting them?
What about the spider in the apartment complex?
Speaking of the apartment, why was the power out?!
What about all the baby spiders about the town, ie Graham's house?!
ON THE OTHER HAND
She's so cute! And yet so badass! So much the DOCTOR!
x500! I love her already.ON THE OTHER HAND

I thought the "Yaz's mum" thing was really funny too.Gigantic........Mutant...... Spiders.....
Through the entire episode I knew what was going on. Small(XL) spiders + bathtub sized(XXL) spiders = Van Sized Mama Spider!!! That's basic horror movie math! Horror movie math is much simpler than chicken math.
This episode went for more of a horror movie vibe than historical, my preference, or what I'll call a star trek vibe. I guess the plot holes go with the horror movie theme, after all why would you watch a scary movie if I didn't have plot holes to keep you up at night?
I love Doctor who's use of LGBTQ+ characters. Most American TV shows avoid or fail to create a believable queer character. We're not mythical, hard to figure out people! Captain Jack Harkness might be the exception to that. He's more like a Invincible unicorn!
Frankie wasn't a big character, but the comment of "I'm your niece's wife" got me thinking about Jack, Bill and for a split second Shakespeare. I adore Jack and his antics, his name is the best pick up line in the entire universe! Bill was a great companion and I was disappointed when she wasn't going to continue to go on adventures with The Doctor. The Bill/Heather story line was pretty neat.
Even though Arachnids in the UK isn't my favorite episode of the season so far, that title goes to Rosa, it did have some great comedy in it. Calling Robertson Ed Sheeran was hilarious! The Doctor using the words Fam and Dude was also funny.
I can't wait for the next episode!
Ditto on the plush Pting part. How cute. Also, it's incredible how much their CGI has improved!Who's seen it?!
I did. Admit to getting a little weepy eyed there at the end.
Dislike the who 'lost the tardis again' theme.
Puzzled that she didn't want to claim the mantle of Doctor.
I NEED a plush Pting in my life. Need.
ALL IN ALL: a satisfying but ultimately forgettable episode.
I am curious where we are going with the Doctor not just being. . . The Doctor.Ditto on the plush Pting part. How cute. Also, it's incredible how much their CGI has improved!
I loved it, plain & simple. Jodie's definitely going on the favourite doctor short list.
