Anyone watch CBS Sunday Morning about Peafowl?

Excellent video! I think it's just an example of how people are just trying to control everything though!! Next they'll be trying to stop the seagulls from flying over and pooing on their drives. Too many people prefer to say "you can't have or do _________because it affects me this way_____"

Thanks for the video !!

Wasn't that neat?! And here some of us would love to have them stroll through our yards. Has to be better than all the pigeons and doves that come for free dinner on my farm.

Wonderful video! I just love watching peafowl! People should just focus on the beauty (positives) and not negatives. Those are the ones where the glass is always half empty!

Hey Countrygirl - haven't seen you around in a long time.

I enjoyed the video. I spotted a few peafowl that look exactly like my own. I have six, each a different color, now one year old. I truly enjoy watching them free range our farm. I think they are beautiful and amazing creatures. They fly all the way to the top of our home (3 stories); can be found on the second floor balcony in the mornings; sleep in the tallest trees at night; and roam the farm at will. I love their calls and the sounds they make. I feel truly blessed to have such beautiful creatures walking around here. Everyone that visits is in awe and takes lots of pictures. I can't wait till they begin breeding.

Yeah, I have been busy and no access to computer since the boys are hogging it all the time. I can't wait till my peas are showing color. At what age does that happen? They are 2 months old. Mine are free range as well. Right now they still think they are chickens, but instinct is starting to kick in. I have 3. Don't know if they are male or female. But I can't wait to see.

Deerman can take a look at pics of them and tell you what color they are and whether male or female. He's always very helpful to everyone with peafowl.
