Anyone Who Builds Coops on Oahu????

Aloha! Just wondering if someone knows of an individual who builds chicken coops or tractors on the island of Oahu? I am in desperate need of one, maybe two coops (depending on the size) and can't find what I am looking for in the local Craigslist. I see so many cute coops made on the mainland, but unfortunately, free shipping almost never applies here. The cost of shipping to Hawaii is almost as much as the coop itself. I would really love to build my own, but I do not have the time with my work schedule, nor the tools to do it.

I am improvising with the babies housing while I am searching, but they will need a permanent structure soon. Please, I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thank you!!

I've never used it and don't know how it works, but there is a site called "angie's list". They list contractors and such. Might be worth a shot.

Keep looking on Craigslist...my girls' first home was a doghouse. Look for any barn, shed, doghouse, coop, bunny hutch. OR Put an ad on for bartering. If someone has something, or would build you something (much like my neighborhood handyman did for me

) , you could trade something.

My girls are living in an giant size dog crate on my porch. This crate is huge!! It is also heavy, cumbersome and takes up a whole lot of room. I really want the girls to be able to play on the grass in the yard. They are growing so fast that I'm feeling the pressure to find something quick! I did see someone selling a coop on Craigslist recently, but they wanted $700 for it. Too much money for me to spend right now... especially around the holidays. I'll continue to keep an eye out for any possibilities.

Are there any farms near you? We've recently discovered that coop building seems to be a popular passtime for farm owners. I'd ask them.
