You can request the new owners don’t eat them, or charge a rehoming fee, but once they are out of your hands it’s out of your control.
I also rehomed my only roo, I want to think he’s living a happy chicken life but will never know for sure.

Yeah it can be tough thinking about it. I just wanna know that if worst comes to worst, they'll do so humanely and get it done as quickly as possible. I'm almost tempted to have whoever the future owner is send me pictures every week updating me on the chickies LOL (but I won't)

Roo number two being adopted out. Wasn’t the plan but he is unpredictable and aggressive. He is a wonderful protector of the flock but I cannot have to watch my back every time I go in. It saddens me but I guess this is what life with roosters is about. I tried everything to make the situation better from tough love to pressure to everything in between but in the end those of you on here who said sometimes a roo is just an aggressive roo were right.
