@Birb Mom, thank you. It isn't easy to loose them. And yes, I beleive there is a special place in heaven for animals.

Look up a poem called "The Rainbow Bridge" and find comfort in the beautiful words of the poem. I know they are talking about dogs and cats but I think it can be applied to any animal that is loved.

He ate a little bit this morning. He seems to be doing great... as long as he can see me otherwise he starts talking and trying to get up and find me.

Went to work and just came home. Feeling great, thanks! Except for freaking traffic and it took me over an hour to get home. :/
