I like my hovabator 1602N still air, but now I have a question about it. In the directions it says to keep the temp. at 100 degrees. But I keep hearing that in a still air incubator I need to keep the temp. at 101-102 is there any truth to this? Or should I just keep it the same 100.?? Thanks

I have 3 different Hovas.. One is the 1602n .. I just hatched out on same dates with a 1583 with fan and the 1602n without fan..

1) 1583 .. Temps around 99.5-100 1 day early. Humid-50%
2) 1602 .. Temps around 99.5-100 On date plus 2 days late plus some dried out with Humidy up around 75% at times even higher.

I just put a fan in for next round... Fan is better..
