FWIW, because EE are a "mutt" - a mix of breeds to get a general type and egg colors, there will likely be variation in their laying age. Hopefully yours won't be on the longer side of things, as it is very exciting to get those colored eggs! We had a breed (not EE) that took *forever* to lay, and that wait was excruciating! Those 3 pullets took 39 and 44 weeks to lay (the third had never laid by 45 weeks when we sold them), so I can sympathize with wanting those eggs!
