Anyone with Eggs hacthing around Nov.19th

Unfortunately (or fortunately) my Silkie is broody right now, so it will probably be a little while until she starts laying again. Too bad too, b/c I just hatched one of her babies and it is sooooo cute! It has 5 toes, dark skin, and really light yellow fluff...full of contrasts!

Oh is ok no hurry, I have a lifetime to collect the ones I want. I think your idea of silkie/EE is a great idea. I am still trying to get Coops and runs for these done for when they hacth and are big enough to go outside.

Mine are due in staggered hatches the 16th, 18th, 19th, and 21st.

ETA: Oh yeah and I can't leave out my broody. Her first one is due on the 7th and the rest are due later in that week sometime.

I am going to candle tonight, I didn't do it when I unpacked them. Anyone candle yet?

I have 14 eggs from my own hens. I candled them last night and all 14 of them are developing!!

Of course it is still very early, so who knows how it will turn out, but so far so good!!!

I have 3 pekin duck eggs due to hatch the 21st.
