Anyone with Eggs hacthing around Nov.19th

I know. Not that I think 30 is old, it just feels weird that I'll be in my 30's in a few weeks.

I'm 33 and I feel 22 so it's just a state of mind. Have fun, it keeps you feeling like a kid.

BTW...I have an incubator full of eggs and they're due to hatch on the 20th. Close enough right?

20th is close enough, (I turned 37 last week) know the feeling. I candled, 8 of my Frizzles have great veins 1 maybe, see nothing in my silkies but maybe next time I will see something. Anyone else candle yet?

Our RIR is setting now on a clutch of 5 eggs. 3 of them are RIRs crossed with Ameraucanas, and 2 of them are Ameraucanas. Her babies are due to hatch on the 21st, the day after Thanksgiving! We are so excited since she is the first of our hens to go broody!

Yeah for you, one day I hope I have a hen go Broody. I wonder if its less stressful that way? I probably would still worry every 5 minutes about it then too though.

I have some due on 11-17. My cuckoo marans,some green eggs and some bantams

I candled again, I know I am bad. However the kids are still considering this a school project so we are trying to candle so they can see them develop and track them. Both sets My Frizzles and now my Silkies appear to be developing very well. We are so excited. Anyone else candle yet?

I candled mine on day 3!! I know, pretty dumb! But all of them looked like they were developing, so I'm good!! I think I may go check them again, just for the heck of it!!

Just checked again, and all 14 are developing! One looks like it has a bacteria ring in it though.

well thats still good odds, what does it look like to have a bacteria ring, I have never seen one.
