Anything Art :)

Every artist has to use references, it's not something to be ashamed of. That's like saying "I'm learning maths but I have to use books to help me sometimes." - Of course you do, it's not just going to pop into your head! :p

You can google it, It's about an hour long. It's a romance, I saw some of it, but am going to buy the DVD soon. :)

Yeah true CX :lau
Nice example XD XD

I think the biggest issue is that people see being good at drawing as a talent, and not a skill. No one says, "You're so talented at physics!" - because they appreciate the work you have to put into it to get good at it. So why is it that someone can spend their whole life learning to draw but it is dismissed as 'talent'? I know people use it as a compliment, and I'd take it as one if someone said it to me. But a lot of people will give up on art because they don't believe they're natrually good at it. The school system has a lot to do with this, but that's a whole other subject.

Agreed. I've been drawing for 6 years now and am still learning. It takes time!
