Dusty and babes are ok, but I noticed she has lost some weight I gather it being a winter hatch makes it harder because I have not seen this before with my warmer weather hatches. She is on on flock raiser which is how I have raised my birds before...

Should I do a starter instead? Higher protein, I think I can get a smaller bag of actual duck starter... Any other suggestions?

Scrambled or hard boiled eggs would work if she likes them (my first muscovy did NOT like eggs). And it won't be a big deal if the babies eat them.

When I got my current adults at 3-4 months old, they wouldn't eat any treats. Peas, tomato, corn. Nothing. Just looked at me like why are you throwing things at us.

Maybe the higher protein but she's already on 20% with the flock raiser so she should be good now that she'll be eating more often.
