APA/ABA Large Fowl Rooster Show
2025 BYC Summer Fair
Ends on August 24th, 2025

Make way for the big boys! 🏆 The APA/ABA Large Fowl Rooster Show is here — and it’s all about presence, power, and poultry pride.

From commanding Cochins to regal Rhode Islands, show off your top-tier roosters and their full-on feathered flair.

Crow loud, stand proud — and click that shutter! 🐓📸💪

These entries will be judged according to the basic principles of the Standard of Perfection; e.g. quality of feather, clarity of colour, balance of shape, correctness of comb, and how well they represent their breed. Clear, focused, well-lit photos of a well-posed bird in good condition will score higher.

This is a judged photo contest.

Prizes - At least one 3-month PFM!

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

What do you mean comb correctness? Like basic type comb?

What do you mean comb correctness? Like basic type comb?
Different breeds have different comb types, such as single, rose, pea, cushion, etc. Each breed standard explains what the comb should look like in more detail - size, shape, number of points, or any other features. The standards differ slightly even between breeds with the same basic comb type so it’s important to check the exact standard for your breed - often available on club websites or old, digitised copies of the SOP. :)
