Good afternoon,
I apologize for not responding to my messages, for some reason they are not loading and are blank.
I just wanted to update and thank those who helped me in my time of stress and need.
Both breach babies with the bruised eggs hatched on their own with completely absorbed yolk sacs, no bleeding and were able to complete their hatching on their own.
Both are lovely and doing well.
The little gold one does have an issue with her foot, her foot looks like a fist.
She is eating, drinking and playing with her toys. She manages to get around but I know I need to make a boot to try to fix the issue.
Itās going to be difficult because of her kicking and squirming.
But others have managed to do it, so Iām sure I can figure it out.
The first one I made came of because I didnāt tape it up her leg and it just slipped off.
Also, itās over 90 degrees here and we are not using our air conditioning yet. I canāt imagine that they would still need a heat lamp! Iām concerned about overheating. So I covered half of their box to give them shade and put ice cubes in their water, which they really enjoy.
I apologize for my mini breakdown, I was just very frightened. Iām very emotionally invested and I wasnāt sure if the yolk sacs were absorbed.
And regarding what appeared to be a āman made openingā in the one with the large hole, it was my husband that was trying to help with good intentions.
He said that he read that it should be opened a bit more each day..
Here are our new babies and a photo of the one with the bad foot.
Blessings to all!
